Mobile Laboratory Services – Home-Based Specimen Collection
Med-Health Laboratories Ltd. provides home-based phlebotomy and specimen collection services to support patients requiring diagnostic testing outside of a clinical setting.
Our Mobile Lab Service is designed to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient collection of blood and urine specimens within the patient’s home or workplace.
All services are performed by trained and certified phlebotomists who adhere to current clinical best practices, infection-control standards, and specimen- handling protocols. This service is particularly beneficial for patients with limited mobility, chronic conditions, scheduling constraints, or those who prefer the privacy and comfort of their home environment.

Service Details:
- Professional venipuncture and specimen collection performed by certified phlebotomists
- A valid, signed laboratory requisition from an Ontario-licensed physician is required (no older than 6 months)
- There is a $70 mobile service fee payable prior to the home visit
- Laboratory analysis of blood and urine specimens is fully covered by OHIP*
